At first, I was trying to write the characters’ reactions to Dark Link killing people as being fairly realistic and true to their personalities (obviously not taken very seriously, but having the characters act somewhat worried while still getting ready to gear up and “hero”, if you know what I mean). This wasn’t working out so well, and I was getting stuck. I could write this type of thing if I was writing a fic and had some space to do it, but this is just a comic and I had to get in some sort of punchline by the end of it.

Eventually I just went “screw it” and rewrote the comic with the characters saying the types of things I would say if I were living in a world as strange as this one. To be honest, I almost think this fits the personalities I’ve given them better.
